Finding the Flow: How Dalcroze Eurhythmics and a New Approach to Music Education Can Improve Public Schools

As technology has advanced so has the ability to better diagnose and treat disabilities in children. This has led to better and more effective therapeutic protocols which has led to increased populations of special needs as well as classified students in public schools. This combined with rises in childhood depression and anxiety as well as childhood poverty has meant more developmentally, socially, and emotionally diverse students. Suddenly, the job of teaching, has become more creative and dynamic.
