This story has been in the making for about 25 years. The first three chapters were written by hand on a college notebook that apparently had sufficient space left over for storytelling after grades had been rendered. Fortunately, the slender nature of my college note taking did not in any way mitigate the proliferation of my imagination!

From there, it took on a life of its own! I quite literally did not know how it was going to end until I wrote the very last word. And I must say, I was just as surprised as I know you will be!
