This book is a personally collected and curated selection of quotes, poems and teachings gathered over 25 years of practicing and teaching yoga. These expressions have been organised and formatted into chapters to enable the reader to dive into an area they may want to touch upon and perhaps be an aide to other teachers looking for some encouraging words to impart on their students. In the western world of spirituality and yoga, some of the esoteric and yet deeper aspects of philosophy can be difficult to access to the average person whom may not totally understand what it is they are feeling or why they are feeling it. Indian yoga philosophy can be tough to translate and difficult to grasp. In this way then these quotes have been used to very simply highlight an emotion or a sensation that the person reading or listening to has experienced, without complicating their very subtle emotional connection to their inner world.
