Social Sport as a Means of Inclusion

This book is the product of a research that aimed to understand the processes of inclusion through social sport in the students of the acceleration classroom of the Instituci鏮 Educativa Normal Superior of the city of Popay嫕, its nature is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach, using educational ethnography as a design. It was constructed from four referents: education, social sport, inclusion and acceleration classrooms, fundamental elements for the conceptual development of the work, taking into account background information (international, national, regional and local) that would allow us to document the problem and thus be able to investigate adequately. The design is composed of 7 phases that allowed to focus and deepen in the problematic in the middle and by means of techniques and instruments managing to identify some categories that would be analysed and would allow to conclude that: it was possible to widen the conceptual gap that we have in relation to sport from the perspective of competition and thus give a social approach to the concept, in such a way that it would move away from that competitive visualisation to become a social sport.
