In conservationism, rural producers see a way of preserving the environment and extracting a form of income and subsistence from it, maximizing production over time and guaranteeing sustainable agriculture and livestock farming. On the other hand, the intervening bodies created the Altamiro de Moura Pacheco and Jo緌 Leite parks with the aim of conserving the Jo緌 Leite dam with enough drinking water to supply the municipality of Goi滱ia and the metropolitan region. Socio-environmentalism should be the Consortium's main focus in its actions and planning, but it can be seen that even with the search for an increase in production, a reduction in the area under cultivation, or a reduction in the areas where livestock is raised in order to preserve and conserve the environment, the Consortium has not presented or developed any programs aimed at a line of credit or fiscal and financial incentives.
