Ushering department remains a very important and supportive
department that brings order and allow for things to be done
decently and seamlessly. This corroborates the word of God in 1
Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order". The Author of this book has done an exposition on the typical day
and role(s) of Ushers; who have varied responsibility in the scheme
of things, especially in the church. As stated in this book, the role of
an Usher sometimes goes beyond the traditional role of welcoming
members and visitors into the church, serving as security/protocol
and working as sanctuary cleaners, who ensure that the church
premises are kept neat and tidy for each service. It is instructive to note that the services, roles and responsibilities
