Tristan DeVere, bass guitarist for the rock band Third Generation, swore off relationships a long time ago. After his estrangement from his father at twenty-one, Tristan fell for an older sophisticate who made him think he could rule the world. Unfortunately, the older man showed Tristan his true colors in an extremely humiliating way and brought his family into an unwelcome spotlight. Scarred by the public betrayal, Tristan fears commitment, especially with an older man.
