Pregnant with Jan's child, fifteen-year-old Kelly faces off against high school bullies and her self-obsessed mother, who demands that she get rid of the baby. He must survive the front lines long enough to find Kelly and outwit the criminals who have condemned her, the baby and his Afghan friend to a cruel fate.
