In 1948 in the aftermath of World War II, a fatal shooting shatters a peaceful park in Canterbury. A little girl witnesses the brutal murder of her father. When she disappears with her mother, the man's and his family's identity remains a mystery.

Years later, in 1965, martial artist Dominic witnesses an attempted abduction of a woman named Claire in the same city. Claire is not all she claims to be, and she embroils him in a world of bio-warfare, deadly diseases, and a secret laboratory in the heart of Kent's countryside.
