Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia were all German allies in the Second World War, unlike the other countries of Europe which had either been forcibly occupied by the Nazis or remained neutral.
The three volumes cover the Christian year and each contains eighty settings, each with a simple but memorable refrain for all to sing, verses which alternate from soloist to a small group of singers,
