The Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) is a systematic approach to storytelling that offers insight into the unique psychological reality of each individual. Phebe Cramer, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at Williams College, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and a practicing clinical psychologist.
