Contributors identified only by name, but presumably scholars of English language and literature, examine instances of English interacting with the larger world. Their topics include cultural influences on language learning styles, the nature of anglicisms in Estonian, online perspectives on global English, trickster humor in Thomas King's Green Grass, Running Water, raising intercultural awareness though dialogic interaction in the English as a foreign language classroom, and boundaries of identity in 20th-century linguistic and literary theory.
