The homes layout and interior is organized to take advantage of the natural water body and to utilize many of the resultant exterior spaces for the planting of fruit trees and various spices that can be used in the familys meals.Although there is not a lot of water exposure, most living spaces have a view and access to the river side of the home.Large glass areas where placed to grab views of this lush tropical setting.
It was concluded by the owners that the best way to enjoy the animals, was to integrate them into the home in a sparing way.There was to be a perfect balance as not to overwhelm.The furnishing and finishes are light, clean and simple.This helps to maintain a neutral background for the art and animals.Natural materials were used throughout the interior and exterior.Venezuelan teak flows through the entire home, complimenting the warm tones of the furniture and animal displays.The exterior architecture uses a localized Mediterranean style with its washed stucco, terra cotta tile, indigenous woods and natural shell stone to become the quiet back drop for the tropical landscaping.The exterior was to be understated, reflecting the neutrality of the interior.The finishes were used sparingly, while maintaining an artistic flair.This structure is merely the shelter for the"Animal Kingdom".

業主總結：欣賞動物的最好方式就是將動物充分與室內設計融為一體，并達到一種平衡。室內家具布置及裝飾簡單質樸，這種風格利于為藝術與動物建立一種中立背景。天然材料的使用遍及室內外空間。房子采用的委內瑞拉柚木與室內家具及動物展示所呈現的暖色調完美融合。室外建筑呈現地中海風格，選用與熱帶景觀遙相呼應的清洗過的灰泥、赤土色瓦磚、本地生木材、天然殼石等材料。室外空間被輕描淡寫，為與室內達成和諧。本案沒有進行過多裝飾，呈現淳樸的藝術氣息，展現很多動物，堪稱“動物王國”。
