Sraffa and Althusser Reconsidered ― Neoliberalism Advancing in South Africa, England, and Greece

Zarembka presents students, academics, and researchers with an interest in neoliberalism, Piero Sraffa, or Louis Althusser with a collection of scholarly articles from a variety of international scholars and researchers, which together argue for a reconsideration of the development of neoliberalism in the politics of South Africa, England, and Greece. The eleven contributions that make up the text are organized in four sections focused on reconsidering the work of Piero Sraffa, neoliberalism in action, a retrospective on the work of Louis Althusser’s in interpreting the Marxist philosophy of science, and debating labor aristocracy.
