Luca Saba received his MD from the University of Cagliari, Italy, in 2002. Today he works in the A.O.U. of Cagliari. Dr. Saba’s research fields are focused on multi-detector-row computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, neuroradiology, and diagnostic in vascular sciences.
His works, as lead author, include more than 100 high impact factor, peer-reviewed, articles in journals such asAmerican Journal of Neuroradiology, European Radiology, European Journal of Radiology, Acta Radiologica, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, American Journal of Roentgenology, Neuroradiology, Clinical Radiology, Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery, and Cerebrovascular Diseases. He is a well-known speaker having given speeches over 45 times at national and international levels.
Dr. Saba has won 12 scientific and extracurricular awards during his career. Dr. Saba presented more than 400 papers and posters at National and International Congress events (RSNA, ESGAR, ECR, ISR, AOCR, AINR, JRS, SIRM, AINR), and he has served as chairman for numerous international conferences. He has written fifteen book chapters, and he is editor of five books in the field of computed tomography, vascular imaging, and neurodegenerative imaging.
Dr. Saba is a member of the Italian Society of Radiology (SIRM), Eurpoean Society of Radiology (ESR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), and the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR).
