Technology and Entrepreneurship Education: Adopting Creative Digital Approaches to Learning and Teaching

Higher Education institutions around the world face substantial challenges during the global pandemic and beyond; face-to-face teaching has been put on hold and blended or online learning has been widely and quickly adopted. Entrepreneurship education in particular faces complex challenges in terms of how students can develop the appropriate mindsets and skillsets that will enable them to respond to social issues through social enterprise, and effectively disrupt the market through creative product and service innovations. At the same time, extant research has mostly focused on developing students' theoretical knowledge, while relatively little is published about engaging students through experiential entrepreneurship (i.e. learning about entrepreneurship). This book seeks to fill this gap in scholarship by presenting state of the art research on how digital technology can be successfully utilised in entrepreneurship education. Contributors offer insights on the different types of digital technologies that are most effective in teaching entrepreneurship in diverse education settings, along with international case studies to demonstrate successful student engagement.
