Health Effects of Indoor Air Pollution is part of a series of three volumes of Air Pollution, Adverse Effects, and Epidemiological Impact. This volume covers the classification of indoor air pollutants and discusses the health impact of indoor pollutants such as bio-aerosol, tobacco smoke, and carbon monoxide. It also examines epidemiological studies and assesses the effect of gaseous pollutants and fine particulate matter (PM) on health. The book includes sources of indoor air pollutants and the exposure and risk management of indoor air pollutants. It also explores "sick building syndrome" which causes acute health and discomfort that appear to be linked to time spent in a building.
