“初階英語聽講練習”isacomprehensivespliteditioncoursebookforstudentsintheirfirstyearofvocationalhighschooltodeveloptheirlisteningandspeakingskills。Thebookprovidesabroadcollectionoftopicsbasedonreal-worldsituationsandvariousactivitiespromotinginteractionwithpeers。In“初階英語聽講練習,”studentscanuseandimprovetheirEnglishskillstobuildfluencyintheireverydayEnglishconversations。

Eachunithastwomainlisteningtexts。Foreachlisteningtext，studentsareguidedthroughasetofsteps:beforeyoulisten，whileyoulisten，andafteryoulisten。ThesehelpstudentslearnhowtolistenandunderstandspokenEnglish。

Afterthetwolisteningtextsineachunit，thereisaspeakingsectionthatteachesagrammarpoint，apronunciationrule，andaspeakingtip。Attheendofeachunit，studentstakewhattheyhavelearnedanduseittopracticecreatingaconversationwithapartner。Oncetheyhavecompletedthis，theywillperformtheconversationtotheclass。Asafinaltask，studentsareaskedtoassesshowwelltheydidandhowmuchtheylearned。

Inthisinnovativeway，“初階英語聽講練習”willhelpstudentsexploretheworldaroundthemandsharpentheirEnglishskills。

「初階英語聽講練習」共分上下兩冊，每冊六大單元，每單元細分為三個小節，供技術型高級中等學校外語群一年級使用。本書取材於各種情境之日常生活對話，並提供多元文化新知，以期在引發學生學習興趣的同時，也能讓學生將所學活用於生活中，並更進一步了解不同文化的語言使用。

本書架構安排以步驟式培養為原則，前兩個小節分別圍繞兩則聽力對話發展，以提供學生充足的語料輸入。每則對話皆有不同的場景與語境，能夠讓學生了解不同語境下的對話方式與語言選擇。每個小節依照聽力前(BeforeYouListen)、聽力中(WhileYouListen)以及聽力後(AfterYouListen)的順序發展，以符合邏輯之步驟培養學生在各個階段的聽力技巧。

每個單元的第三小節為口說練習，以前兩個小節的聽力語料輸入為基礎，介紹文法於口說時之應用方式、發音方法以及口說技巧，並提供常用的相關用語以幫助學生進行對話。每單元最後請學生依照所學，步驟式地創作一則對話，以該單元相關的語境發想，並和同儕分享並合力完成對話，最後於課堂呈現結果。而在單元的最後一頁則提供學生評量表，以讓學生自我評量學習成果，反思所學。

「初階英語聽講練習」集結各種日常主題並經過謹慎編輯安排，以期能以步驟式教學來培養學生的聽力口說能力，並幫助學生探索與學習各種新知。
