《佛教海線絲綢之路―新媒體藝術特展》,在總策展人佛陀紀念館館長如常法師、學術策展人路易斯‧蘭卡斯特(Lewis R. Lancaster) 教授、技術策展人邵志飛教授、莎拉‧肯德丁教授等四位策展人共同企劃,透過蘭卡斯特教授《佛教海線絲綢之路》研究文本,運用新媒體藝術將豐碩的佛教數位文化遺產保存,讓海內外人士來到佛陀紀念館展廳內,可感受佛教海上傳播、沉浸式360度全景視覺、3D模型立體雕塑等;透過虛擬實境,看到佛教海上地圖動起來。
